How to Upload Documents and Images for Verification

Modified on Tue, 12 May at 4:48 AM

When submitting documents or photos as part of the verification process on Nyangu, the quality of your upload directly affects how quickly your verification is completed. Unclear or illegible submissions will be declined, and you will be required to resubmit.

Requirements for verification uploads

All documents and images submitted for verification must meet the following standards:

  • The full document must be visible within the frame, with no edges cut off
  • Text must be legible and not obscured by glare, shadows, or blur
  • The image must be taken in good lighting
  • Do not photograph documents at an angle. Lay them flat on a surface and shoot directly from above
  • Do not submit screenshots of documents unless specifically instructed to do so
  • File size must be sufficient to show details clearly

Accepted file formats

Nyangu accepts JPEG, PNG, and PDF uploads for verification documents.

Common reasons verification uploads are declined

  • The document is blurry or out of focus
  • Part of the document is cut off
  • Glare from a screen or surface is obscuring text or images
  • The document has expired
  • The name or details on the document do not match the information on your profile

What to do if your upload is declined

You will receive a notification if your verification upload does not meet the required standard. Retake or rescan the document and resubmit. If you continue to experience difficulty, contact our support team at support@nyangu.com.
