Agent Verification Documents

Modified on Sun, 3 May at 3:59 AM

To verify your identity as an agent on Nyangu, you will need to provide the following documents during the verification process.

Required Documents (All Agents)

Government-issued identification (one of the following):

  • National Identification Number (NIN) slip or card
  • Driver's License
  • Voter's Card

Bank Verification Number (BVN): Your BVN is required to validate your identity and link your account for commission payments.

Additional Requirements for Lagos-Based Agents

If you operate as an agent in Lagos State, you must also provide a valid LASRERA (Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority) License. The specific requirement depends on how you operate:

  • Individual agents: You must provide a LASRERA License registered under your business name. This confirms that you are authorized to practice real estate agency services in Lagos State.
  • Agents working within a corporation: You must submit both your company's LASRERA License and the company's official registration documents (e.g., CAC certificate). This confirms that the organization you represent is duly licensed to operate in the Lagos real estate market.

Document Upload Guidelines

Ensure all documents are clear, legible, and not expired. Upload photos or scans in JPG, PNG, or PDF format. If any part of a document is obscured or unreadable, your verification may be delayed and you will be asked to resubmit.

Agents Outside Lagos

If you operate outside Lagos State, the LASRERA requirement does not apply. However, if your state has a similar regulatory body or licensing requirement for real estate agents, providing that documentation strengthens your profile and builds landlord confidence.
