Once your landlord verification is complete, you can begin listing properties on the platform. A well-prepared listing attracts more qualified renters and reduces the time your property sits vacant.
Adding a New Property
- Log into your landlord dashboard.
- Navigate to the Add Property section.
- Fill in the property details:
- Title: A clear, descriptive name for the listing (e.g., "Spacious 2-Bedroom Apartment in Lekki Phase 1").
- Location: The full address or area where the property is located.
- Description: A detailed overview of the property, including the number of rooms, key features, nearby landmarks, and any other information a renter would find useful.
- Property type: Select the appropriate type (e.g., apartment, flat, duplex).
- Upload high-quality images or videos of the property.
- Set your rental price and specify any additional terms, such as payment frequency or caution fee requirements.
- Submit the property for review or immediate publishing.
Photo and Video Guidelines
The quality of your images has a direct impact on how quickly your property attracts interest. Upload a minimum of five photos per listing. Include photos of every room, common areas, the kitchen, bathrooms, and the exterior of the building. Use natural lighting wherever possible and avoid dark or blurry photos. Videos are optional but highly recommended, especially for premium or furnished properties.
Property Verification Documents
When listing a property, you will need to provide proof of ownership. Refer to the Property Verification Documents article for a full list of accepted documents.
Your listing will go live once the property documents have been reviewed and approved.
