How to Assign Agents to Your Property

If you prefer to have an agent handle property showings, tenant inquiries, or other management tasks, Nyangu allows you to assign agents directly through the platform.

How to Assign an Agent

1. Navigate to the property you wish to assign an agent to in My Properties.
2. Open the property management tab for that listing.
3. Choose from one of three assignment options:
   
   

• Open for Proposals: Post the assignment publicly and allow agents on the platform to submit proposals for your review. This option is ideal if you want to compare multiple agents and select the best fit based on their experience, availability, and approach.
  
  
• Invite a Specific Agent: Send a direct invitation to an agent you already know or have worked with. Use this option if you have an existing relationship with an agent and want to bring them onto the platform for your listing.
  
  
• Browse Nyangu Agents: Search through verified agents on the platform and select one based on their profile, ratings, and experience. This option is useful if you do not have an existing agent relationship and want to find a trusted professional.

4. Review the agent's details and confirm the assignment.
   
   

What Happens After Assignment

Once assigned, the agent will be able to manage tour requests and property showings on your behalf, respond to renter inquiries about the property, and coordinate with prospective tenants through the platform.

You retain full control over your listing and can monitor all agent activity from your dashboard.

Changing or Removing an Agent

If you need to change the agent assigned to a property, navigate to the property in My Properties, open the property management tab, and remove the current agent. You can then assign a new one using any of the three methods above. You can change or remove an agent at any time without affecting your listing or any pending applications.
